The Chamber's Women In Business is a group of exceptional people, and we welcome entrepreneurs, employees and business owners, and future Chamber Members to our events.  Our 2024 series is sponsored by our incredible community partner, Imperial Sarnia Site, and on February 22nd our speaker will be Helen Cole, founder of The Jean Collective.

Helen is a passionate advocate for women's leadership and empowerment. Over a remarkable 35-year career spanning local government and the non-profit sector, she has had the honour of serving and making a difference in the communities of Chatham Kent, St. Thomas Elgin, and Sarnia Lambton in diverse roles.

Remembering the wisdom of her beloved mentor, Jean Macdougall, Helen established the Jean Collective, A Woman in Politics Initiative. This initiative mirrors my commitment to empowering women in leadership, with a focus on municipal politics. She is immensely proud of their accomplishments to date. Today, their focus has changed slightly so that we focus on leadership rather than solely on politics.
